Agreement and licence

These terms are between you and Harris Jose, the developer of Passmagic ("we", "us"). By using the app or this website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

For an app obtained through Apple, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your licence to use the app. These terms cover the Passmagic service and your responsibilities when making and using passes.

What the service does

Passmagic turns tickets, boarding passes, loyalty cards and coupons you provide into Apple Wallet passes. It reads the item on your iPhone, uses third-party AI with your permission to interpret it, and sends the finished pass to our server for signing. An internet connection and compatible Apple device and services are required for some steps.

Check the pass and keep the original

A Passmagic pass is a convenience copy. It is not issued, approved or guaranteed by the airline, venue, retailer or other issuer of the original. Creating a Wallet pass does not create or change your right to travel, enter an event or claim an offer.

Text recognition and AI can get names, dates, times, seats, terms and barcodes wrong. Check every field against the original before using a pass. Keep the original ticket available: an issuer may require it or reject a third-party pass, and some converted barcode formats may not scan.

Your content and permitted use

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give us and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy permission to process it only to provide Passmagic. Use only genuine tickets and cards that you own or have permission to use.

Do not use Passmagic to forge or alter an entitlement, impersonate someone, mislead an issuer, break the law or an issuer's terms, interfere with the service, bypass usage limits, or access the API outside the app. We may restrict access when we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

Names and marks

Passmagic's software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. Issuer names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in a ticket or pass does not mean they endorse Passmagic.

Beta service, limits and future purchases

Passmagic is currently offered free during its beta. Features may change, have bugs or be subject to reasonable usage limits. We may update, suspend or discontinue the service. Any future paid features will be described with their price and applicable purchase terms before you buy them. We will update these terms before introducing paid features.

Availability and responsibility

We work to make Passmagic useful, but cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, accurate or accepted by an issuer. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from an inaccurate or rejected pass, including missed travel, denied entry or lost bookings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Passmagic at any time and delete the app. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms or to protect the service. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and date here; if a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice where required by law. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
